Our Story

The Tony Robbins Foundation

What began nearly forty years ago as one man’s individual effort to feed two families has now grown into the Anthony Robbins Foundation. Created in 1991, the Anthony Robbins Foundation was built upon the belief system that regardless of stature, only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution experience life’s deepest joy; true fulfillment. Connecting, inspiring, and demonstrating true leadership throughout the world, the Foundation’s global impact is provided through an international coalition of caring donors and volunteers.

The Tony Robbins Foundation is a non-profit organization created to empower individuals and organizations to make a significant difference in the quality of life of people often forgotten – youth, homeless and hungry, prisoners, elderly and disabled. Their international coalition of caring volunteers provides the vision, inspiration, finest resources, and the specific strategies needed to empower these important members of our society.

We all have the power to share. Take the first step in creating the ripple effect by helping those in need discover their own power within.

Here in the Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto communities, we started a local Basket Brigade 26 years ago, in 1993.  Our first year we fed 66 families.  The number of families have grown ever since. We are now Basket Brigade Canada, a federally registered charity across the country.
